Nicola Kerslake

Nicola Kerslake has spent close to 20 years in a spectrum of positions with global investment organizations including ABN Amro and SEI Investments. From managing hedge funds and private equity to working in M&A and heading a real assets research program — her experience speaks for itself. Nicola is currently Investment Manager for Battle Born Venture Fund, Nevada’s State Venture Capital Program overseen by the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) under the auspices of the US Treasury’s State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI). To say she is passionate about innovation, especially as it relates to water and agriculture, is a serious understatement. Her knowledge of equity analysis, fund management in energy and natural resources and her entrepreneurial leanings give Nicola the rare ability to first recognize and then successfully take high-level problems to task. As a long-time real assets investor and fund manager in sectors ranging from energy and renewables to agriculture, water and forestland, she is well positioned to assist IVE in the design of their natural asset exchange platform. A graduate with honors of Magdalen College, Oxford, where she studied politics, philosophy and economics, Nicola is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
