Events Intern

We are looking for a highly-dedicated, organized, bright, and resourceful individual with an interest in women’s issues and technology for an events internship at Girlmade, located in downtown Reno (Startup Row). The intern will contribute to the production of the Girlmade events and partnerships.

About the position

Girlmade production, with an emphasis on event coordination. Though the focus of the internship is event coordination, there will also be some light event sales lead generation assignments. The position offers pre-entry level career development with opportunities for project ownership in event coordination after demonstrating capacity for leadership, detail orientedness, and critical thinking. This internship is an ideal stepping stone to make you a desirable candidate for your first full-time event coordination position as well as a desirable perch for growing a high-caliber professional network in technology and startups.

Hours:
Approximately 8-10 hours per week, ideally spread out over two or three days. The position lasts three -six months, after which time there may be an opportunity for renewal.

About the ideal candidate
